Matt Eastman

Vice President

Matt Eastman joined Baker Street Advisors in 2019 and currently serves as a Vice President within the firm’s Investment Strategy Group. In this capacity, he plays a central role in the design, construction, and oversight of customized investment portfolios tailored to clients' goals and objectives. His responsibilities span across strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction, and comprehensive investment due diligence.

Matt leads Baker Street’s manager research efforts, overseeing the sourcing, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of external investment managers across both public and private markets. He drives the firm’s manager selection process and plays a key role in cultivating and maintaining relationships with leading investment managers. As a team leader within the Investment Strategy Group, Matt fosters cross-functional collaboration and contributes to the continued evolution of the firm’s overall investment framework.

Before joining Baker Street, Matt worked in the finance department of a leading global semiconductor company headquartered in San Jose, where he supported corporate finance and accounting initiatives across multiple teams under the CFO organization.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from St. Bonaventure University, where he was a four-year member of the Division I baseball team. He is currently completing his MBA at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley (expected May 2025). In 2021, he was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and remains a member of both the CFA Institute and the CFA Society San Francisco.
